Question: Are these products safe for people, animals and the environment?
Answer: Yes, all GreenSafe products are formulated with natural, non-toxic ingredients. Clinoptilolite, for example, is a safe mineral that is not absorbed into the bloodstream (of either humans or animals, so it does not cause systemic side effects. It has been used in EU-approved animal feed for years. The photocatalysis products (GreenGuard) do not generate hazardous chemicals, they only use UV-A light and special surfaces. In addition, we have certifications such as ECOCERT in several products, guaranteeing that they are harmless and environmentally friendly. In short, when used as indicated, they do not harm living beings or the environment; on the contrary, they reduce the load of harmful chemicals in farms and homes.
Question: How are these products applied or administered and are they complicated to use in practice?
Answer: They are fairly easy to incorporate:
GreenPest: You apply it as a common foliar spray. Mix the powder with water (e.g. 2-5 kg per 100 L, depending on crop) and spray with knapsack or tractor, covering leaves/stems well. It is recommended to apply it preventively every 10-15 days during the pest season. It does not require special equipment (any sulfator will do) and is compatible with other bioinputs.
GreenAgro: It is used as a soil amendment. When preparing the soil, spread the recommended dose (e.g. 1 ton/ha) and mix it with the soil (harrow or rotavator). In perennial crops, it can be applied around trees or in rows and irrigated for incorporation. Its application is similar to amending with lime or organic matter.
GreenDigest (all variants): It is incorporated into the feed. In feed mills it can be premixed, or in the farm itself sprinkle the dose on the feed and mix. It comes with recommendations: in swine and poultry ~1-2% of the feed, in calves a few grams per animal. Basically, it is “added to the plate” of the animals. It does not alter the taste of the feed, so the animals eat it without any problem.
GreenPure: Very simple: sprinkle on the bedding of the animals evenly (as if you put talcum powder) and/or sprinkle in the liquid manure. Frequency: on new bedding put a thin layer; then reapply every week or when you see moisture/odor. In slurry, every time you empty the pit, you can treat the new slurry. This can be done manually with a shovel or with an agricultural lime spreader.
GreenGuard: Its initial implementation can be done by us or associated technicians (these options are billable), because it involves placing UV lamps and painting or coating surfaces with our photocatalytic material. But once installed, the user only has to turn the system on (or program it). Maintenance is to change the UV lamps when needed (every 30,000-50,000 hours of use, typical 3 to 5 years of continuous operation) and dust the surfaces from time to time for the light to take optimal effect.
GreenDetox Pets: Administered mixed into the pet's food. For example, one scoop sprinkled on the dog's food daily. It has no odor or taste, so usually the pet does not even notice it. If the pet eats twice a day, you can divide doses between the two feedings.
GreenDetox (human): Comes in powder or capsules. In powder form, simply dissolve the measure (one teaspoon) in a glass of water or juice and drink. Best on an empty stomach or before bedtime. In capsules, with a glass of water. In both cases, daily consistency is recommended to notice effects in a few weeks.
In short, each product has its specific mode of use, but all are simple procedures that adapt to the existing routines of our customers.
Question: Will GreenPest not harm bees or other beneficial insects? I am concerned about my pollinators.
Answer: Excellent question. GreenPest is designed to act primarily on pest insects that come in direct contact with the treated crop (aphids, flies, caterpillars on leaves). Bees are generally not affected because:
GreenPest is recommended to be applied preferably in the early morning or late afternoon, when bees are not actively foraging on flowers.
GreenPest works by physical contact. Bees tend to visit flowers, not so much to rub themselves on dust-covered leaves. Even if a particle touches them, because it is not a chemical poison, the adult bee can wipe itself clean; the lethal effect occurs on small insects present on the leaf.
It leaves no toxic or systemic residues on the plant. Therefore, nectar and pollen are not contaminated with anything harmful. In field trials, hives near crops treated with mineral dusts (such as GreenPest) showed no population problems. On the contrary, by avoiding chemical insecticides we are protecting the bees from neurotoxic compounds. In summary, used with proper timing and coverage precautions, GreenPest is pollinator and wildlife friendly. Many organic farmers use it for just that reason.
Question: Can GreenPest harm people or other higher animals?
Answer: No, GreenPest does not adversely affect humans or other higher animals.
GreenPest is formulated with ultramicronized clinoptilolite, a natural mineral recognized for its chemical stability, inert behavior and high biological safety. Unlike insects, which rely on a thin epicuticular layer of lipids and chitin to maintain their hydration and survive, mammals, birds and other higher animals have a skin made up of multiple living cellular layers, internal hydration mechanisms and a skin barrier that cannot be affected by the clinoptilolite mechanism of action.
The action of GreenPest is purely physical and specific: it adsorbs the lipid layer of the exoskeletons of small arthropods, causing their dehydration and death. However, in humans and other vertebrates, clinoptilolite:
Does not penetrate the skin.
It is not absorbed into the body.
It does not react chemically with tissues.
It does not release toxic substances.
Several toxicological studies have shown that dermal exposure to clinoptilolite does not cause systemic toxicity. At most, it may cause mild dryness or slight mechanical irritation if the dust enters the eyes or remains in prolonged contact with the skin, similar to soiling with fine dust. There is no risk of skin absorption or intoxication.
By oral route, clinoptilolite passes almost intact through the digestive tract, without decomposing or releasing hazardous compounds. Safety studies carried out on laboratory animals (rats and mice) and reviews by health authorities such as the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) confirm that natural clinoptilolite is safe even at very high doses (up to 1% of the diet with no observed adverse effects).
Clinoptilolite acts in the intestine as a detoxifying agent, adsorbing ammonia, toxins and heavy metals, to be subsequently eliminated from the body without being absorbed. This capacity has motivated its growing use in veterinary and human medicine, where it is used to:
Improve intestinal health.
Reduce circulating toxins.
Help in support protocols in inflammatory and metabolic diseases.
Furthermore, from an environmental point of view, GreenPest does not represent any risk: it is insoluble in water, does not contaminate soils or aquifers, and its ecotoxicological profile classifies it as “non-hazardous” for aquatic fauna, wild birds or mammals in natural ecosystems.
In summary, GreenPest's safety in humans and higher animals is due to:
Its insect-specific physical mode of action.
Its chemical inertness to animal tissues.
No systemic absorption.
Its stability and environmental non-toxicity.
These attributes make GreenPest a highly effective pest control tool and at the same time extremely safe for the applicator, consumers, domestic animals and beneficial fauna, in line with the principles of sustainability and environmental protection that characterize GreenSafe Technologies.
Question: If I use GreenDigest on my farm, can I stop using antibiotics or other medications?
Answer: GreenDigest is neither an antibiotic nor a drug, but a preventive feed additive that improves the overall health of livestock. It does not replace therapeutic antibiotics when active infections are present. However, its continued use often results in healthier animals with less disease, reducing the need for treatment. For example, poultry farms have been able to raise without antibiotic promoters thanks to GreenDigest, and pigs with fewer respiratory problems require fewer injections. Think of GreenDigest as a daily booster that keeps many problems (diarrhea, mycotoxins, etc.) at bay, making the veterinarian less involved. We always recommend working hand in hand with your veterinarian: monitor health and, if all goes well, he himself will see that he can lower doses of certain preventive medications. But in the case of a declared disease (for example, an outbreak of Salmonella), specific treatment will still be necessary. However, with GreenDigest it is possible that the incidence of these outbreaks will drop drastically. In summary: don't abruptly replace medications with GreenDigest, but use it so that, over time, your sanitation program will require fewer antibiotics because the animals get sick less. And any change in medication, do it with the advice of a veterinarian.
Question: How long does it take to see results?
Answer: It depends on the product and the situation:
In crops (GreenPest/GreenAgro): some effects are fast. GreenPest, for example, controls insects from the first application - in 1-2 days you will see dry aphids on the leaves. GreenAgro is more gradual: it improves soil which will reflect its benefit during the crop cycle. You may notice within weeks plants that are lusher compared to the control. Yield increases you will see at harvest, obviously.
In livestock (GreenDigest/GreenPure): GreenPure acting on odors is almost immediate; within a couple of days of application you already notice less ammonia. GreenDigest in animals can show digestive improvements in a few days (e.g. less diarrhea). For metrics such as feed conversion or weight, it is observed at the end of the fattening or productive period (weeks or months). For example, in 45-day-old chickens, it was evaluated at slaughter; in 4-month-old pigs, the same. But intermediate indicators such as mortality or improved fecal consistency are seen within the first 1-2 weeks.
In pets (GreenDetox Pets): Owners usually report positive changes within 2-4 weeks of daily use. First in stool (odor, consistency) and gas reduction, then in energy and coat within a month or so.
In humans (GreenDetox): Varies from person to person. Some in a week notice less bloating or better digestion. The deeper detox effects (energy, skin, analysis) are usually evident after 4-8 weeks, which is the typical intestinal recomposition time. It's subtle and cumulative; don't expect a “radical detox” overnight - it's not a laxative, it's something gentler but steady. In general, we are transparent: this is not instant magic, but progressive improvements. The good news is that many of those improvements are maintained as long as you use the product and even after. And if you combine several (e.g. GreenDigest + GreenPure on farm), results can be accelerated by attacking the problem from several areas. The important thing is consistency and correct use. But yes, you will notice a difference and we will help you measure it when it is measurable (e.g., comparing weights, consumption, etc. before and after).
Disinfection (GreenGuard/GreenCoat): The result is noticeable after 1 hour, with maximum effectiveness after 16 hours, remaining stable for at least 3-4 weeks in very aggressive environments or up to 5-10 years in milder environments.
Question:Do they have scientific backing? It sounds too good to be true.
Answer: We understand the doubt. Yes, our solutions have solid scientific backing and field testing:
GreenDigest: Multiple published studies demonstrate the effects of clinoptilolite in animal diets. For example, research in pigs showed ~25% ammonia reduction; in chickens, ~70% mitigation of mycotoxin effect; in calves, improved weight gain and liver health. We have done pilots ourselves on commercial farms and documented results (technical reports available).
GreenAgro: Agronomic studies show how zeolites improve soil and retain water (up to +20% water in sandy soils), increasing yields in various crops. Agricultural universities have published on nitrogen leaching reduction with clinoptilolite. In addition, in our demo plots in greenhouses in Almeria we saw that +10% yield and quality improvement we mentioned.
GreenPest: It is based on known principles (inert powders such as diatomaceous earth have been used for a long time). There is literature on the physical mechanism of insect desiccation. We have conducted efficacy trials against specific pests with agronomists, validating that it works equivalent or better than certain insecticides in controlling aphid populations, whiteflies, etc., without residue.
GreenCoat/GreenGuard: Photocatalysis is a laboratory-proven technology (TiO₂ is well known for its disinfecting power under UV). We have data from farms where we installed GreenGuard: microbiological counts before/after, measured gas levels, all showing significant improvements (aerobic bacteria reduction >90%, -27% methane, -85% ammonia, -17% dust in a swine house experiment).
GreenDetox Pets/Human: Although newer, they are based on the same active ingredient. EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) evaluated clinoptilolite for human use and declared it safe for detoxification. There are pilot clinical studies, for example, in patients with allergies or metal poisoning, where zeolite improved markers. In short, we are not selling smoke. Behind every claim there are scientific data or real results. And we can provide you with references, publications or summarize those findings if you need to convince a more technical client. We are proud that GreenSafe unites natural tradition with modern evidence.
Question: What is the cost and return on investment and is it worth it financially?
Answer: The cost varies by product and scale, but we always aim for the benefit to far outweigh the investment:
In agriculture, for every euro in GreenAgro or GreenPest, the idea is that you get back several euros in more production or savings. Ex: if you spend 500 €/ha in GreenAgro but you achieve 12% more yield in a crop that generates 2000 €/ha, you are earning 240 € extra, that is, almost 50% ROI in the first year alone (normally in these agricultural calculations we compare the increase in income with respect to the cost, not subtract the cost from the increase. That is, ROI= (240/500) ×100=48%), without counting long-term soil benefits, which would be:
Improved soil structure: increasing aeration and water holding capacity.
Increase of beneficial microbiota: favoring healthier crops, less dependent on chemical fertilizers.
Reduced salinization and compaction: allowing higher yields on a sustained basis.
Better nutrient retention: less leaching (nutrient loss), less groundwater contamination.
Greater resilience to drought, climate change or water stress.
Accumulation of organic matter: in many cases, by improving microbiota and root activity, the natural accumulation of organic matter is also promoted.
In summary: The benefit is not only the immediate increase in production, but from the second year onwards, soils usually require less fertilizers and corrections, reducing costs and stabilizing or increasing yields.
In livestock, we have calculated cases: in fattening pigs, investing ~1 € per pig in GreenDigest can save you 2-3 € in feed and medicines, in addition to giving you more saleable kilos (ROI >200%). The real case “El Encinar” amortized its investment in GreenSafe technologies in less than a year. In chickens, the cost per bird is pennies, and allowed them to sell at a premium price; they recovered everything and more in the first cycle.
Products like GreenPure, its cost per square meter of litter is very low compared to the improvements it brings (less downtime, better weight gain for comfort). Often the ROI is seen in production parameters (less disease = more animals reaching the market). In addition, some savings are indirect: less corrosion of facilities by ammonia (that's also money in the long run!).
For pets and humans, it's a matter of perceived value: how much is health and well-being worth? A pet owner would spend anything to avoid illness for their companion; here, for a few cents a day, you're giving them protection. In humans, for a few euros a day you are investing in your future quality of life. In any case, we maintain competitive prices with other detox supplements on the market, with the advantage of offering many benefits in one. In short, it's worth it. Our customers who keep track of their improvements endorse us that the cost-benefit ratio is positive. And remember, it's not just immediate economic return: sometimes it's avoiding environmental sanctions, accessing an organic market, building customer loyalty... benefits that are difficult to quantify, but very real. The important thing is to start with a test (pilot on a plot or lot) and measure; once you see the numbers, we are sure you will want to expand the use throughout your operation.
Question: Do the products have any legal or withdrawal limitations (e.g., can I use them near crops or on animals in production)?
Answer: There are no safety restrictions or withdrawal periods, which is a big advantage:
GreenPest can be applied even on the same day of harvest if necessary, as it leaves no toxic residue. (Although for cleanliness of the product, a light post-harvest wash is recommended to remove visible mineral dust, but that is routinely done with leafy vegetables, for example). As it is certified organic, there is no legal problem in any crop and no application limit.
GreenAgro is a soil amendment, it has no special regulations; just be sure to follow good agronomic practices (don't over-apply exaggerated amounts) so as not to unbalance, but legally there is no restriction - it's like putting sand or clay to the soil, totally allowed.
GreenDigest and GreenPure are authorized as zootechnical and technological additives respectively in the EU, with no withdrawal period. In other words, you can give GreenDigest until the day of slaughter of the animal, which does not require withdrawal, because it leaves no residues in meat/milk/eggs. Like GreenPure, you can apply it in the presence of animals without risk.
GreenGuard and GreenCoat do not involve chemicals, so it does not interfere with any residue regulations or anything.
GreenDetox Pets and the human supplement still don't require a prescription and have no restrictions, because they are considered food supplements. In pets, it's like giving them a vitamin supplement - free. In humans, likewise, it is an over-the-counter nutraceutical product (in countries where it is already registered as such). The only thing to take care of is to use products registered and labeled correctly for the intended purpose. But if you buy GreenSafe, we give you the product with its registration and documentation in order. So you can rest assured: there are no legal obstacles to use them when and where you need them, and you won't have any surprises of not complying with any regulation for using them.
Question: What is their presentation and how long do they last?
Answer:
GreenPest comes in fine powder form. We supply it in 10 kg bags or in 600 kg BigBags. It lasts indefinitely as long as it is dry. One bag yields quite a lot (think of a typical dose as ~20 kg/ha per application).
GreenAgro delivers it in 25 kg bags or big-bags (1100 kg) because large quantities are used per hectare. It is a coarse powder/granular material. Stored in a dry place, it lasts for years without losing properties.
GreenDigest: 25 kg (bag) presentations for livestock. In pets, GreenDetox Pets comes in small 400 g pot with dosing spoon (enough for ~5-6 months for a medium sized dog). In humans, GreenDetox is packaged in 150 g bottles (powder) or boxes of 60 capsules. All with shelf-life of 2 to 3 years without problem, as it is mineral inert (it does not spoil, it could only absorb moisture if not sealed tightly).
GreenPure: 25 kg bags or big-bags, similar to GreenAgro. We could also make smaller presentations if a small customer needs (e.g. 5 kg bucket). Lasts indefinitely dry.
GreenGuard/GreenCoat: This is not a shelf product, but a “system”. Includes the materials (photocatalytic paint in 10 L buckets, UV lamps, etc.). Once installed, the “life” is permanent as long as maintenance is done. UV lamps last ~3 years continuously; photocatalytic coatings can last much longer than any disinfectant (others max. 2h), i.e. in highly aggressive environments it lasts one month, if the environment is clean, for many years (5-10) before requiring recoating, depending on abrasion. In short: We have formats adapted to each use, with a long useful life. We supply from the very small (pets, garden) to tons for agribusiness.
Question: Are GreenCoat and GreenGuard a product?
Answer: No, they are a system. They consist of a transparent coating and UVA-A lamps. The lights are indispensable for the proper functioning of the system.
Question: How long do the lights last?
Answer: The GreenCoat or GereenGuard Lights are based on state-of-the-art LED technology and have an estimated life of 50,000 hours. However, LED's tend to drop in performance at the end of their life so we recommend replacement after 3 to 4 years of continuous operation.
Question: Are GreenCoatLights dangerous?
Answer: No, not at all. The emission range is at the limit of visible light and they are not dangerous at all. They are very low consumption lamps and also most of their emission is visible light and only a part of what they emit is very low intensity UVA light. A GreenCoat Light lamp emits less UVA light than a normal fluorescent, but the life of a GreenCoat Light lamp is 50,000 hours while a fluorescent has less than 5,000 hours of life. In addition, GreenCoat Light lamps are designed with such low light intensity that they can be on continuously without disturbing the animals at night.
Question: Can fluorescent lamps be used instead of GreenCoat Light lamps?
Answer: Yes. Normal fluorescent lamps also work with the GreenCoat System, however, the life of a GreenCoat Light lamp is 50,000 hours while a fluorescent lamp has less than 5,000 hours of life. A fluorescent needs a screen to prevent contact with the cleaning water, and that screen filters the light and prevents the light from activating the GreenCoat System. The power consumption of a fluorescent is higher than that of GreenCoatLight lamps. A fluorescent lamp must be turned off at night, while GreenCoatLight lamps can continue to disinfect day and night.
Question: What records does the GreenCoat and GreenGuard System have?
Answer: The GreenCoat and GreenGuard coating is TP2, TP3 and TP4 qualified by the Ministry of Health. However, it does not require any registration for its handling and application, as it is a completely non-toxic, water-based product made of natural minerals.
Question: What certifications does the GreenCoat and GreenGuard System need?
Answer: In fact, it does not need any certification because it is a normal wall coating, i.e. equivalent to any wall paint and with the same components. It is completely non-toxic and does not contain or produce chemicals that can be ingested by animals and/or humans.
Question: What certifications does the GreenCoat and GreenGuard System have?
Answer: The GreenCoat System has been tested under ISO standards, demonstrating its long-term efficacy in the elimination of viruses and bacteria. Likewise, we have multiple tests carried out in farms, both poultry and swine, in which the application of the GreenCoat System has resulted in the total elimination of existing infections, such as salmonellosis, parvovirosis, etc.
Question: How often is the GreenCoat System applied?
Answer: GreenCoatLights are applied only once and have a life of over four years. The GreenCoat+ or GreenCoat Indoor wall and floor coating is perpetual in laboratory conditions, in practice, we sweep, mop, disinfect, pressure wash...so we recommend reminders every 6 months, with the amount varying from 40% to 50% of the initial application.
Question: Is it difficult to apply the GreenCoat and GreenGuard System?
Answer: The application of GreenCoat lights is very simple as they work at low voltage (24V). A homogeneous distribution in the installation should be taken into account in order to leave as few dark areas as possible. The GreenCoat+ or GreenCoat Indoor coating is applied by spraying on all surfaces, and any available tool can be used, from a manual backpack sprayer to systems supported by an electric motor, depending on the size of the surfaces to be treated. It does not require nebulization, but spraying.
Question: What type of microorganisms do the GreenCoat and GreenGuard Systems eliminate?
Answer: These systems consist of the application of natural mineral semiconductors on the walls which, with the help of the GreenCoat Light visible light, continuously generate very small quantities of hydrogen peroxide, i.e. hydrogen peroxide. No virus, bacteria, fungus or yeast can live on surfaces on which hydrogen peroxide is generated on a regular basis.
Question: Can the GreenCoat and GreenGuard System keep any facility or vehicle free of infection?
Answer: The immediate answer is Yes. However, the GreenCoat System is not a miracle worker, and it is not an alternative to proper biosecurity, cleanliness and animal welfare measures. The GreenCoat System makes a decisive contribution to improving the conditions of the facilities and to maintaining an environment in which it is more difficult for animals to become infected.
Question: In the case of animal production or hatcheries, can the GreenGuard System increase productivity in my facility?
Answer: The immediate answer is Yes. Most hatcheries have seen an increase in productivity, either by having fewer sick animals, savings on medications, and higher animal performance. The GreenCoat System reduces odors and the ammonia load in the air, which results in calmer animals and better development.
Question: So, can the GreenCoat System reduce ammonia, nitrogen, sulfates and CO2 in my facility?
Answer: Yes, the GreenCoat System technology not only removes viruses and bacteria from surfaces, but also has the ability to destroy organic compounds in the air. In certain facilities with high animal density, reductions of more than 80% of the ammonia content in the indoor air have been achieved.
Question: How long should I use the GreenCoat or GreenGuard System in my facility or vehicle?
Answer: Our experience shows that protection is achieved when the GreenCoat System is used on a regular basis. The cleaning systems of hospitals, clinics, kennels, buses and other facilities with detergents and in some cases also with pressurized water, remove part of the product from floors and walls, and the protection is lost. That is why our application protocol recommends booster applications every time the facility is emptied and cleaned, or alternatively every six months with less aggressive cleaning systems.
